Join us for the ultimate experience exploring the local terrain, with an overnight stay and full dining experience at Mýse.

Renowned local foraging expert Chris Bax will guide the foraging course, exploring the North Yorkshire landscape surrounding Mýse and Hovingham, offering a fascinating insight into the best wild foods of the season. Spend a fun and informative afternoon learning to find and identify edible plants, seeds, nuts, flowers and fungi that grow wild in the British countryside, whilst learning and understanding sustainable and responsible foraging techniques in order to have minimal impact on the landscape.

Guests will then return to Mýse for an afternoon snack and aperitif with Josh Overington and his head chef Jamie Keeble, cooking with and celebrating your foraged ingredients. Relax in one of our luxurious rooms before joining us in the restaurant to experience our fully immersive dining experience, with a full tasting menu inspired by our local terroir.

Finish the evening with a nightcap around our fire pit before a peaceful night’s sleep. Round off the culinary and foraging adventure with an array of locally sourced produce and home-baked goods for breakfast.
